Sip & Puff

The Sip & Puff module is designed to enhance mobility for individuals with limited extremity control. This system integrates a sip & puff mechanism, allowing users to operate and control a power wheelchair.

• The sip & puff module allows users to control the wheelchair and its movements - forward, backward, left and right - by sipping and puffing into a tube.
• The speed and direction of movement are proportional to the intensity of the sip or puff, providing a smooth and responsive driving experience
• The system is designed to be used in combination with alternative control hosts, enabling users to combine different input mechanisms based on their personal preferences and physical capabilities. For example, users may choose to use the mo-vis Head Control for forward - backward movement, while using the sip & puff mechanism for left and right navigation.
