Multi Switch Proximity Sensors

  • P014-41 Multi Switch Proximity Sensors (only the proximity sensors set)

  • P014-42 Multi Switch Proximity Set (P014-40 + P014-41)

The Multi Switch and certainly the Proximity Sensors are specially designed for people with poor or weak muscular power and/or restricted movement. But thanks to its intelligent adjustability, the Multi Switch can potentially be used by anyone with movement difficulties. The Multi Switch proximity sensors are to be used as an input device, where no force or clicking is required, compared to a regular mechanical switch. This increases the comfort of the user and their ability to control the input device. The mo-Vis Proximity Sensor set consists of 2 types of round sensors, 12 and 24 mm. The small 12 mm (0.47 in) sensor allows for installation on a very limited surface area. The regular 24 mm (0.94 in) sensor offers a more sensitive activation, thanks to a larger sensor surface.

The Proximity Sensors work only in combination with the Multi Switch (Multi Switch device P014-40 is always needed)

  • The sensitivity of both sensors is fully adjustable¬†
  • Two calibration methods: auto or manual (only proximity switch)
  • The small 12 mm sensor is easy to integrate in customized molded finger holder for persons with extremely reduced and weak finger movements
  • One 3.5 mm stereo input jack to connect a mechanical switch or a mo-Vis proximity sensor as input device
  • Two 3.5 mm stereo jacks to connect up to four separate outputs
  • Usb powered (usb charger, power bank, laptop, tablet,...)
  • Fully adjustable to individual possibilities and needs
  • Easily configurable with the free mo-Vis Configuration software
  • Different select modes : Click, Start & Scan, Hold and Scan
  • Different output modes : momentary/timed or switched
  • 2 operation modes: locked/unlocked in any output
  • Maximum 4 active outputs (3.5mm stereo jack splitter to 3.5 mm mono jack cable is required)
  • Auditory and visual feedback (every output channel has its own LED that indicates its status and activity)
  • Different time settings: debounce, select, close and quit time
  • Different auditory feedbacks: input-, select-, output- and quit beep
